An unexpected complication: Acute recanalization of carotico-jugular arteriovenous fistulas previously treated by endovascular therapy

Traumatic arteriovenous fistulas of the neck are treated by endovascular method or open surgery according to clinical presentation patient and degree emergency. This case report concerns two delayed onset fistulas, one between right common carotid artery internal jugular vein, other facial caused a previous penetrating trauma. Initially, AV fistula was intervention using multiple vascular plugs covered stent. In this report, we describe surgical performed on who applied emergency department with syncope due acute recanalization old tract four years later.
